I’ll never forget the day this chapter came out. There was so much hype in the community just from these two words “he laughed” But the anime surely did it justice, from the visuals to the first ed in the anime playing in the background. Perfection.

Dude this episode, this chapter was for people like us who have went through the entire journey from the start. This is my top example for a reason why One Piece's length works to its benefit. Seeing the Roger pirates go through the same journey that the Straw Hats did, all of the lore, all of the nostalgia and the feelings of pure joy at the end. We were able to make a much deeper connection due to being on this long winding journey from the start. I'm so excited to see the Straw Hats' reaction when they reach Laugh Tale too (Whenever that may be)

There is a theory based on a japanese folklore that says that "Binks no Sake" is telling what happened in the Void century and it's directly connected to Imu-sama and those shadow figures we saw in Thriller Bark. The theory says that they are all demons and if you cross their path you have to give them a gift and usually this gifts comes in barrels full of Sake and someone named Binks in the past didn't gave the demons the present so Joyboy had to deliver the the gift (Deliver Binks sake) but he failed because of the Celestial families. That's why the demons took over the world and that's why it's a funny story because, if you think about, the World Governemt and the Celestial Dragons exists because some demons didn't get their booze lol

I love that he was soo nonchalant about his disease, and wanted to spend his timed moments not depressed. But with his crew to find the final island. Even in his final moments he was laughing. Man I love his character. I would literally watch a whole show just about Roger.😭

dude roger said 'its such a funny story' they also mentioned that they learned everything about the world at that point, 'how could u leave this stupendous treausure'(for anyone else to witness?). i think what joyboy left is a joke. i think he managed to tell what happened either during the void history or everything that has been happening till now(predicted?), he tells it as a joke and its funny because its true. the punchlie(when u r at the end of the story) could be something he made and left using his df awakening. and maybe its something that only another user could interact with. idk what it might be, but they seemed to understand it right away. and yea thats my theory rn but the one piece could be anything, even panties tbh

The joke with Genghis Baan, if you don't know, is not only the "baa"n. Jingisukan (Genghis Khan) is a Japanese dish made from grilled lamb over veggies. The history behind it I kinda forgot but it has something to do with Mongols and lambs.

Hi, I think you misunderstood a point during their trip to Zou. Roger didnt just "figured out" about the Road Poneglyph. Cat Viper and Dog Storm explained that, at Lode Star Island, the last island they could reach with the Log Pose, they would learn about Poneglyphes and Road Poneglyphes. But since the mugis had Robin, and also that they reached Zou and earned their trust, they no longer "need" to go to Lode Star Island, since this is all what they'll find there : That it isn't the last island and that Poneglyphes are actually important and that they need to find them. So they already started the quest that they were supposed to unlock at Lode Star Island.
