HER FIRST TIME FLYING an AIRPLANE!! - Long Way South E12

In this personal video, I share one of the most special flights that we made on our journey south.
We are 4 weeks into our trip, and have spent a few days in Tanzania, where I lived for 12 years growing up. In this episode we take someone very special for a flight over Dar es Salaam.
Rose is like a second mother to me, and has played an incredibly important role in my upbringing. To thank her for all she has done for me, I take her flying over her home city and even let her have a try at the controls! After an exciting flight, we are invited for a home cooked Swahili meal, and enjoy the company of a warm and loving family. These are the unforgettable moments that make this journey so special!
This is episode 12 of the Long way South Series; a 6 week journey flying the new Sling High Wing aircraft from The Netherlands to South-Africa.
