There's something about a couple murdering someone thinking somehow that'll keep them together, but the moment they get caught it's every man for themselves, that makes my blood boil even more than for most other murders.

It actually makes me happy when they turn on each other. Not only do they throw each other into prison, but they also get to think on the fact that they are locked up for life for something that never profited them. I hope they hate each other from a distance.

It's ironic how far they will go for each other thinking they are so ride or die, but when it comes down to the nitty gritty they show they have absolutely no loyalty to each other by pointing fingers. It makes me so frustrated as well, however it's a very interesting aspect of relationships to look into!

I'm gonna hazard a guess that because David was so obsessed with Adrianne; Diane decided in her twisted mind that she should be unalived. Also, saying that Adrianne had s*x with David is quite far fetched. It was Diane's maniacal jealousy was that caused this tragedy. They both deserve to rot in prison imo.

I don't think she participated in the murder because she was repressed. I think she *ordered* the murder because she thought her own virginity was so "precious" that David could only have been worthy of "taking" her virginity if he also never slept with anyone else. But once that was no longer the case, the only thing she believed would compensate *her* for losing her virginity to an "unworthy" man was for David to eliminate Adrienne from this plane of existence. To me, that's what makes her attitude toward her virginity unhealthy. It's absolutely fine if you choose to wait until marriage, but killing Adrienne was absolutely her being judgmental of both Adrienne and David for not living up to her own choice for herself.

Adrianne was born 3 months before I was. I grew up in Dallas and I was a sophomore in high school when this happened. This case and the Darlie Routier case were in the headlines for years. It doesn't matter whether Adrianne was involved with David or not, Diane and David had no right to end her life and especially not in such a brutal fashion! This case is still unbelievable almost 30 years later

I worked in the Prison where Zamora was locked up. She caused so much drama and her family was banned from visiting because she got so much contraband. She is a huge pain in the azz! I couldnt even stand to look at her. Last I heard she was in protective custody from all the bs she caused.

I was super young when this happened, and after a while a Lifetime movie came out. I remember watching the movie (wayyyyy too young btw), and it really stuck with me how brutally this couple murdered Adrianne. I hope that she is resting in peace, and that her family has found some measure of peace.

As soon as she said she hit her from the back seat with weights I knew I knew this case from somewhere. When she said she ran into a barb wire fence it came back to me. I was also far too young to be watching it but I still remember how sad it made me.

The detail of David crying while attacking Adrianne is just something else. He’s not innocent by a long shot (shooting her in the head twice shows he had some kind of dissociation from the situation) but these were children and whenever a reminder of that comes up it blows my mind that A.) one can be so obsessive and manipulative and justify murder and B.) that they can both convince themselves/one another that this is a good decision to make. Both of them should be in jail but that girl was absolutely the mastermind here

I wanted to give some positivity out to anyone that might need it since I'm going through a very dark time myself now. Whoever is willing to read this, just do. May the dark thoughts, the overthinking, the doubt exit your mind right now. May clarity replace confusion. can y'all stop getting on her for mispronounced words? some people struggle with pronouncing words including myself. there are so many factors that contribute to why someone may mispronounce a word (local/regional dialect, accent, familiarity with the word, etc.). unless it's someone's name or the mispronounced word has caused actual confusion, what is the point in correcting her when you understood what she was saying? at a certain point it goes from genuinely trying to be helpful to simply being pedantic.

Although I do agree that if you *want* to wait until marriage, you’re good to do that and nothing is wrong with that, I will say that I’d *imagine* that the real reason that the other docs made a point to say that the problem with Diane wanting to wait was *because* her first thought when she found out Adrianne and David had s3x was to say *”you have to cleanse the problem so that we can cleanse the marriage, so you have to kill Adrianne”* just saying lol I don’t think it had anything to do with abstinence specifically

Plenty of people get cheated on and don’t go on a psychotic murderous rampage. Clearly the problem was the fact that Dianne and/or David were murderers.

I was 5 y/o and was raised in Mansfield TX. While I was in HS 2000-2004 there was a tree planted honoring her and in the trophy case her picture is placed in there. My Mom said this case really shocked to city and to our surprise we even lived in the same neighborhood as David.

I love your videos, but I must say that I really love how you made sure that the focus was on Adrianne. I've heard this story many times and they usually typically focus on Diane and David, and give little information on the most important person in this case. Bratterstein covered this recently as a 2 parter and it always intrigued me to listen to different people tell the same story because there’s such different delivery styles and details to be found. Literally let me just say, first of all this case is so sad and horrific. Terrible human beings out there. Second of all thank you so very much for defending abstinence and saving sex for marriage. I am pretty sure you're the first person on KZfaq I've seen defend that in a very long time.

I “heard” about this case from the fictional show Cold Case. Most of the episodes are inspired from true crime and take ideas here and there, but change details for the fictional aspect, but the episode featuring this case was so spot on to the real case and was more a narrative of what happened. It’s so heartbreaking.

i grew up in mansfield, TX and still live here because i’m in high school. Not many people know about the case besides the adults, everytime i tell people about it in my class they’re always like “fr?” When i first heard about this story though, it broke my heart.

I'm one of the adults that know. Grew up in Mansfield graduated 2002, last class to graduate with one high school still in Mansfield. If this case is one little people know about, look up the Andrew Wamsley case, he was in my grad class, plotted with gf and friend to kill his parents, and did, gf is on death row for it

If i’m being honest, all people in high school and middle school in mansfield just care about being in relationships and or selling drugs…and doing them rather than murder cases, sounds like i’m making this up but i’m really not. I overheard in the new middle school they opened some girl overdosed and the elementary school I went to treated kids with disabilities horrible…but it took a lot of digging around to find out, it’s been really crazy lately and im honestly so curious on how teenagers especially middle schoolers get ahold of drugs and if all of this can unfortunately lead up to someone’s death. So many teenagers have been getting ahold of drugs that we get search dogs to go into our classrooms and smell for drugs, i’m afraid someone will overdose again but this time actually die or someone will be on drugs and do something horrible

I feel like, giving how Diane reacted to David allegedly cheating on her with Adrianne, she probably felt threatened and extremely jealous.Maybe David did give Adrianne a ride home and/or maybe had a minor crush on her, Diane found out and went ballistic. Diane probably gave him like an ultimatum if he doesn’t kill Adrianne then she’ll break up with him or kill herself.
