kalle kanin that’s just because some tourists are reckless and stupid... Being Norwegian myself and having lots of experience in the mountains, I know for sure that Kjerag is not the most dangerous mountain in Norway. Not even close!

kalle kanin pfft Kjerag is easy the only reason it takes more life is because more people climb it. And mainly stupid tourists that try to take stupid pictures. I have been on far more dangerous hikes in Norway than Kjerag.

@@WanderlustAweSyndrome Everything :) The five famous hikes of Norway are: Trolltunga (pretty sure it's more difficult than Kjerag), Preikestolen, Besseggen, Romsdalseggen, and Kjerag. I hitch hiked around Scandinavia back in 1973 and took the ferry around the North Cape and back down through Finland and Sweden. I have travelled all over the world and I must say that Norway is right up there for being one of the most beautiful countries in the world. Yes it was expensive even back then. But what I now know that I didn't know as a twenty one year old in 1973 is the awesome geological history of this region which will make your journey even more interesting and with greater appreciation should you take the time to explore the geology.

@@Gnarloo "like every other pair of shoes".. .. Sure, you clearly don't know much about shoes, just because two pair of shoes go on the feet does not mean they're equally good for their purpose. Ask any podiatrist and they will tell you that you are wrong, if anything we should go more barefoot. In Norway we have a saying "there is no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothes", to be able to dress properly, which we are taught from a young age, includes proper footwear. It just does.
