Greetings, today we will be taking a look at the HK Models A-20G Havoc in 1/32 scale. This is a monster of a kit, and even though 1/32 isn't my preferred scale, I couldn't resist an A-20. Let me know what you think in the comments below!

That is a HUGE MODEL !!!!!!!! 1/48, would be about the biggest model I would build My great Uncle served in the SOUTH PACIFIC with the 5th Air Force, he was a film developer for Pre and After reconnaissance section… The A-20 was the primary Attack Bomber in the Squadron… I think if I built a kit of that size, it would be the center of my display room… I think I would donate it to a AVIATION MUSEUM… Mister, I’m looking forward to seeing this build in progress I AM A SUBSCRIBER don’t lose your momentum Better stock up on GLUE and PAINTS… I’m actually a big fan of the DOUGLAS A - 20 So many details… I bet it’s going to be heavy also…. I’ll keep watching CHRIS 🇺🇸

Yeah, having enough room is certainly a factor here, not quite sure where it will reside, might have to build an acrylic case for this one. Thanks for your kind words and encouragement! -Brett

Just found your channel from your F105 video and I just have to say, love this format for a kit review. Just a look at what's in the box, your thoughts on the kit, marking options and overall impressions. Too many people choose to spend 30 mins going over every part, every step in the instructions etc - this style of video is much nicer in my opinion. Looking forward to seeing your stuff in 2024.

Yeah, I agree! Thats why I started the video series, so that I could give people a look at whats in the book, maybe help them decide if it is the kit they want and then move on. Glad you found the channel, thanks for watching!

I could imagine a DIORAMA with this kit… 4x4 piece of plywood for starters… The first A-20 gunships, they modified them in the field by removing the bombadier and installing 4 50cal machine guns in the compartment ( you already knew that ) OH THE DIORAMA I COULD MAKE… good luck and MODEL ON…………. I, of course, will not be getting this kit because it probably costs a fortune and.......sod it, unfortunately I really lack your talent. Great review! I really like the stressed skin look. You definitely need to paint as many markings as you can! Scan the sheet and send it over.

I'll probably send you the clear parts and may just include the decal sheet along since my scanner doesn't get great quality scans.

This kit is brilliant, however, needs brass landing gear legs due to significant weight.

That is so true, I even made that comment about its weight… I wonder if there’s a aftermarket extra Or manufacture your own… GOOD THOUGHT!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok if you start to watch the video and gives thumbs up in the first seconds KZfaq will not count it. However if you start to watch the video and after 1 2 minute's give thumbs up they are counted. Don't ask me why this is how KZfaq works.
