I have a roll of 10 gage oxygen free copper speaker wire. I spilt it and doubled it up. I attached Nakamichi spade ends and I had some 3/4 inch red and black heat shrink I used to make them more durable and look more professional.

Ok so once there set up like that where do I connect the actually cable coming from the amp to the speaker? Top or bottom

Try each one, I found they sound different.......not sure why, but on my speakers, I perfered bottom.
