Which ones did you install? I just did Monroe 171138's and 39's in rear but the truck is making me car sick... Too floaty for me. I think I'll have to send the fronts back and try KYB or rebuild with Ford springs and shocks

I am debating doing the struts,upper control arms,sway bar link and outer tie rods on my 2013 expedition. Video has convinced me to try it. Thx. It has 67k miles. It rides great. No signs that it is needed. But just put new tires on. What do you guys think;is it time to do it? Also passenger side axle seal starting to leak so i need to get to that which is more than half the work for that strut. And what do you think about the detroit axle struts and parts. About 1/2 the price of the better napa struts? Thx

The only reason why I replaced the struts was due to one of the rear struts letting go and leaking all over the place. At 67K if the truck rides good and the struts are not leaking I would leave them alone. Detroit axle has decent brakes I have used them on my trucks, buy the one with the ceramic brake pads it will cut way down on brake dust. Here is a link to them on Amazon amzn.to/3V4EprM

Incorrect procedure. tighten the top bolts only after the lower bolt is in place otherwise aligning the lower bolt is very hard.

Good Evening.....I noticed when going over speed bumps in parking lots, the front passenger side makes a sound like it's bottoming out. It only does it on speed bumps and other big bumps. Does it sound like a front strut assembly? It's a 2012 Expedition King Ranch with only 43k miles.

Yes. OEM struts fail by about 50k miles.

You may want to inspect the front struts to see if they are worn out and need to be replaced.
