What I like about 2018 is that, if you’re paying attention, you know exactly why he was being transferred on that day, this time … Except that none of the other Halloween sequels exist in this one, it makes perfect in-universe sense. I have mixed feelings about this one, but I liked it much more than some others

@@epoen2012 I don't mean any disrespect when I say that I'm not sure where you got that idea. The franchise's internal chronology disputes this (at least in regards to the two most recent sequels). In Halloween II (1981), Dr. Loomis specifically states that Michael Myers is 21 years old at the time of that Halloween night in 1978. Go back and watch the scene where Loomis and the police are checking the dental records of the young man who was mistakenly killed because police thought he was Myers. Loomis mentions it there. Going by the math, Myers would be 61 years old by the time of Halloween (2018). So I don't see how the trailer is wrong in this detail.
