Hop is a 2011 American 3D live-action/computer-animated fantasy comedy film directed by Tim Hill and produced by Chris Meledandri and Michele Imperato Stabile. Hop stars Russell Brand as E.B., the Easter Bunny (Hugh Laurie)'s son who'd rather drum in a band than succeed his father as the Easter Bunny; James Marsden as Fred O'Hare, a human who is out of work and wishes to become the next Easter Bunny himself; and Hank Azaria as Carlos, an evil chick who plots to take over the Easter organization.

I just realized the human protagonist has more siblings than the rabbit protagonist. In a movie full of cliches, they couldn't even get the ones about rabbits right.

If nothing else, his work on “Hop” did give him practice for interaction with a CGI cartoon character for later. I remember him doing an interview around the release of this movie talking about how hard it was to do that right, and how he now understood why so many other actors struggled with it.

Danielle in the movie The Rock was also a hockey player nicknamed the Tooth Fairy because he knocked out so many other players’ teeth. At several points he flies using these absolutely stupid looking dollar store wings. It was a trip to watch.

I actually thought that very same thing. Because it's just the really bad AaTC movie but he plays the drums rather than sings. Minor modifications are throughout but that's basically it. Except they forget one of the important lessons of AaTC, the chipmunks existence isn't hidden. The talking rabbit is frequently noticed so he isn't a secret, but the movie behaves as if he is which makes half the decisions not make sense. Bland Human, could have just told his dad why he did that if he was *actually* hidden and the little tracker squad should have found him easily. Maybe they thought if they blended the film with E.T. then the two scripts would balance each other out, by the same logic mixing moldy lettuce and ice cream will make something relatively edible.

You know, I have to admit that I love the effort Doug puts into the commercials/sponsor's messages. Most youtubers/etc just mention them, but he is actually putting effort into it, he writes sketches that are genuenly entertaining and I just wanted to appreciate that. Ok, that's all.

I would’ve changed Fred’s character like this: He was fired or laid off from a previous job when he was so close to a promotion or something similar, and let’s say he loses his job because of his arrogance, if I remember correctly he wanted to be someone great and successful but just wants to get there in a instant and not work his way up. So, he’s lost his job and now needs to find another to continue his stride and that in turn changes the family to where they’re more supportive yet trying to teach Fred about not being so arrogant and that he will achieve greatness in time. There, 12 years later and I came up with a better character arc for Fred where Illumination failed.

Carlos was right to rebel then he lives in what is essentially a hereditary monarchy that has the power to make almost anyone an Easter bunny, or at least co Easter bunny, if they wanted to but due to Carlos' race that he was born as he is forced under a specific role like some sort of unfair caste system. I think part of the reason most anyone does remember this movie is the Pink Berets. Cute, silent, and would probably make a good movie all on their own. Like being the actual delivery service for the eggs by stealth and tactics
