House Build 40 Pouring Concrete Porches for Our Legacy Block ICF House

We are pouring about 31 yards of concrete for our wrap around porches and sidewalks. The pour is broken up into 5 sections to ensure a good finish by a small crew. You will see all aspects of the pouring and finishing process for flat concrete porches. This is also part 2 of the Blue Collar ASMR. LOL!

Wow, that looks fantastic. Sure fun watching the progression. Interesting the video took place encompassing 9 days. Lot of hard work.

Thanks. We thought they turned out great and can't wait to use them. Weather and other obligations caused the 9 days. We were originally going to do 1 or two pours but broke them down further for the smaller crew to ensure a quality product at the end. These guys are really good at their job and take pride in a quality final product.

Thanks! We've been planning this for almost 30 years. Of course, in our "dreams" it didn't take nearly so long to get it built! LOL! We wouldn't be able to afford it if we weren't doing all of the work we have and will be but, given the cost of materials, the concrete build is about the same price as having this built in stick frame. It looks fantastic. I heard you say you'd be buying your wife a hot tub for the porch. That makes it on record so you have to get her one lol. It's looking great yall.

Thanks! We should have the roof structure done in a few weeks so the porches will have SHADE! I DID include a qualifier of "if we have any money left." It may be a water trough and a wood stove with a shopvac exhaust plumbed in... Every time I buy materials they've gone up from the last time I checked prices. I'm dreading the updated quote for the metal roof.

@@randyanderson1983 Yep, they haven't committed political brand suicide, it tastes good for store bought and I don't have space in a camper to make my own! It's the daily, daily. I like imports but that gets spendy as a habit. LOL! Thanks for watching!
