Been following for a long time. And i learned from you and mostly myself that best way to progress is to increase intensity by adding volume as number of sets or reducing the sets that you use band/reducing the sets of you use stronger band.

I think id like to add also to #1 to think about correct JOINTS also eg cross uses elbows so find elbow conditioning exercises etc just my opinion - nice video 👍🏻
@TheJackedVegan
@TheJackedVegan Жыл бұрын
100% the first step is muscle activation and conditioning which is your base for every skill so definitely agree ✅
@granitmanifit

Ive seen a big improvement in my cross progress since i have started conditioning my elbows exclusively knowing my intentions before entering the movement - eg using bands to practice the "nakayama" which is my goal for rings so its basically a maltese to cross but i am using bands to practice it while the band hangs from a bar - specificity is definitely the key

What is your opinion on increasing for ex. Hspu numbers? How should we train for 20+ hspu in a row without overtraining. I do 3 sets and i increase 1 rep in 1 set each time of my workout but now that i am at 5-5-5 it started to get harder
@TheJackedVegan
@TheJackedVegan Жыл бұрын
yeah that will get ridiculously hard at some point but there are different methods such as rest-pause. So even if you fail at 5 or lose your balance you continue the set and then next time try to make the break or 'pause' shorter until you're over 5+ reps in a single set. This is one method to try

And how Long each step lasts? For example: Should I do 4-6 weeks of conditioning and activation, then 4-6 weeks for the time under tension and then 4-6 weeks of strength training before doing another 4-6 weeks of conditioning and so on?
@araskoca8172

as araskoca said you can try this. But for advanced skills or different movements, you can focus more time on the conditioning for example and less time on strength. For example iron cross may be like this because the conditioning is so important to provide a base for the strength

You show the clip of your training from 2021 but may i ask. Why is that not good activation?
@TheJackedVegan
@TheJackedVegan Жыл бұрын
I wasn’t protracting, and didn’t even properly know the muscle activation for protraction back then
@trulystronger4681
@trulystronger4681 Жыл бұрын
@@TheJackedVegan tbh it doesn't look that bad 🤷 neutral at best you weren't retracting and over arching or smthn.. maybe its just that you are grinding planche for couple yrs more and have more strength in relevant muscles to hold your posture high off ground? Like its almost as telling someone they're front lever is not a good onr because its not retracting allll the way which is simply way harder, if your were to add a weighted vest or belt and try to planche i think your form would look somewhat neutral, maybe im wrong

I'm about 110 days in to training the iron cross twice a week and I already held 3 seconds at 75-80 degrees. I don't feel my joints when doing it and neither do I feel fatigued throughout the week. Is it worth it to do three sessions a week instead to try and accelerate progress, or will it just lead to injury?
@TheJackedVegan
@TheJackedVegan Жыл бұрын
I'd keep it at 2. It's definitely enough frequency, when I increase and start to do 3/4 it always does not end with good results and just a lot of pain haha

@@aniscalisthenix7835 I disagree. I would never use grease the groove for advanced movements. Beginner movements, however, (pushups, pullups, ring rows, etc.), are not a big deal. I do pullups and pushups almost every single day for active recovery. Have done so for years with no issues
