Yum, that looks great! It would be great with corn beef, too. Hopefully, you will show us how you will ferment your Cabbage. I have a fermenting kit and want to ferment cabbage.

Looks yummy. I bet you would love Reuben Dip, that kraut would be good in that. Boars head has a good recipe for Reuben cheese dip.

I do something similar with sausage and cream cheese. It usually ends up as sauerkraut balls but I think it would make a great side dish on its own.

yes this is a dish i grew up eating my grandma and mom both made it and i make it and we make it with and without meat and like it both ways

we used to do this with sausage and apples, but I suppose the cooking kills most of the probiotics? If not, I might try it again soon
