I just lost my pro boxing debut and at 35 years old I feel lost but hearing you saying you’re in the best shape mentally, spiritually and physically and you’re my age gives me so much inspiration. Much love bro

I feel this so hard, I've lost quite a few if my ammy fights. But yes, I am at my best, mentally, physically spiritually. I need to keep reminding myself of these things.

I believe that developing my strength is the only thing that gives meaning to my life. I have tried everything in life and I always return to the same remedy: exercise. Only now I want to get serious about it. You are a great brother.

Stay the path brother!!! For me know it’s all about being strong to be a better lover. To help build others, be an asset to my family and community, and, eventually, be a light for the world. You got it!!!

This one is hard depending on what you’re doing. For me, I had crazy tennis elbow and shoulder pains while doing bodyweight stuff. I didn’t want to stop but eventually I dropped all my bodyweight work and decided to just get back to my fight training. About after a year of not doing any street workout stuff, I did some pull-ups and my tennis elbow was gone. From this experience, my suggestion would be to explore what your heart is telling you. When I was doing just street workout stuff, my heart kept telling me to stop and go back to my fight training. Session after session my body kept breaking down and I just took it as a sign to do what my hearts telling me to do. I’m not sure what that is for you, but, trust in your intuition

having my ACL torn for nothing in a judo class, got me thinking bout "if not combat life, then what?". Im a muay thai guy, can't do teeps no more, my old signature. Since i have no perspective on getting surgery done, i feel lost constantly, like i have lost my purpose.

This is where one must evolve and find your new form for combat. I read a book about a guy who had some injuries and because of it, he couldn’t kick as high anymore. He was a student of Bruce Lee. Bruce told him now he must let that go and use what’s available to him. That was an eye opener to me

Merci pour ce format très intéressant! L'adaptation est la clé du bonheur, se figer frustre le corps et l'esprit. Comme disait Bruce Lee: " soit comme l'eau mon ami!"

Shadowbox and hit the bag brother!!! I’d stay away from jumping rope just yet. If you can, go walking in boots or bare foot. The boots will just add the weight and barefoot will help your feet to reset and help the rest of your structure reset with it as well. And also, stay the path and keep a positive mind!!!

Why don't you work on having a career so that you don't have to live in an apartment complex? You're young and in good physical condition so why do you live so poor?

Thank you for the concern brother. My internet career is going quite well and with that, we’ll probably be moving soon to a way way bigger home as owners. For now, this town home is plenty big for my family and our living situation is kinda on the higher end. I just don’t show the other things. Thank you for the concern tho my bro!! Hope you’re having a great day!!!

the way I felt everything being said said in this video. I injured my elbow (tennis elbow) in a judo competition i had over 2 months ago and havent been able to do judo since. Its crazy cus I continued fighting due to the adrenaline i didnt even notice the pain. As soon as i get home i feel it and see me swollen bruised elbow and think how the hell did that happen. I realised after turning into a drop seoi nagi Very fast i felt a slight pain in my elbow but it wasnt very noticeable at that time so i continued fighting (i threw her successfully though and got ippon. Was it worth it? Debatable...)i think the force of the sudden movement put a lot of pressure in my elbow? Not sure. Anyway. That injury really put me down mentslly because ive been doing judo for over 2 years- almost 3- and even though ive been injured countless times before none took this long to heal.i dont even know when ill be able to do it again because the pain is still there even after physio so the uncertainty makes it even worse.. i also do some kickboxing on the side, though im not as serious about it as judo (been doing it for only half a year) and i dont spar either, nor have been to any competitions. Its more just for me to become a well rounded fighter so i picked it up. Its keeping me sane rn being able to at least do 1 combat sport haha. But i miss judo so much 😭 i keep dreaming about my elbow healing and being able to do it again. I know 2.5 months doesnt aound very long but it feels like ill never be able to judo again because i dont know when it will heal. But amongst all the negatives, there was some positives too. Like you said, i found other ways to keep myself busy and i got into calisthenics 2 months ago. Its whats keeping me from losing my mind rn. The soreness i feel in my muscles after a good couple pullups is unchallenged 💪 makes you forget about your worries. Only rhing that matters is the moment. So yeah, it really depends on how you handle a situation how bad the situation really is Also, for my calosthenics lads out there, should i buy protective gloves or let my calluses grow out to offer better grip/protection? I have blisters rn but i dont think they have developed into calluses yet
