when i was hestitating whether i should try this film, came acrossed this video... because as what i searched on google no where mentioned this film has 65mm format....even kodak's official document only listed 16mm and 35mm format... so this video cleared my doubt and i can click the buy button confidently😄

Apparently made for Christopher Nolan for his movie Oppenheimer. these are short ends. You also notice they have sprocket holes.

Because from what I understand is There was no black and white IMAX film until the Oppenheimer movie was made, and Kodak received a request from Nolan to produce this film for use in the Oppenheimer movie. So this film is the same lot of film that was used to shoot that movie but Kodak should have produced a lot just in case because they don't know how much film used in that film (who knows that the film uses "a lot" because the film is 7 kilometers long).@@AnaloguePT

It seems that the Asian side has only iMax laser only Part of what I understand is because of the projector. The original film-based iMax will be removed and replaced with the iMax laser projector. "Old goes, new comes", that's what happened. In my country, I also have a problem with that and really want to watch it like iMax film. @@AnaloguePT

Tried to get a few rolls of this stuff, but unfortunately wasn’t able to as they were sold out. I might email Kodak to see if they have any short ends and just roll it myself

I got them from a china seller. Seems like iMax short ends ended up there.

oh no it was self mixed from powders. but u can use hc110 , just need to test the timing
