"Maggie Mae" is an old traditional Liverpool song that John Lennon's mother taught her to play on a banjo. Then, Lennon included it in a short version on the Let it Be album. The fact that Sir Paul sung it in the movie was like a tribute to John.

Also listening to a lot of Bob Dylan John sang one line backwards "The Judge Guilty found her" Instead of found her guilty" Bob loved to sign lines in songs backwards of course Ian Anderson of Jethro Tull is the king of backwards lines in songs- I learned a lot about song writing more from Ian Anderson and Bob Dylan more so then anyone

I sincerely believe that this movie would've worked so much better, if they had kept Paul's character around trough the whole film. This criminally short cameo was by far the best part of the movie.

I'm laughing so hard at the fact that you could tell its Paul McCartney by his voice 😂
