Hi, I'm Kenny 👋
I specialize in helping you heal from emotional hurt, codependency, and the pain from your past so you can elevate your life by helping you get comfortable with feeling uncomfortable.
I am an advocate for truth and healing. So naturally, therefore, my emotional mastery method might initially feel a bit rough. But, when you start finding answers to the questions you ask yourself (even those you're afraid of), break free from self-destructing behaviors, and begin loving yourself and living your best life, you will feel powerful and empowered.
To calm the chaos within and take charge of our lives, we must process our problems. The best way to overcome them and heal is to face our fears and uncover hard truths. Therefore, I provide the space and the information necessary to openly communicate and discover how to honestly, authentically, and logically process your emotions without fear. In short, I allow you to feel safe in my small part of the world until you can feel safe within yourself.
Sometimes when we look for answers to the most challenging questions, our greatest fears are realized. But, then, when we learn the truth communicated with the possible solutions, we often find an outcome better than we dared to dream.
If you have looked everywhere, are desperate for a solution, and you're ready to stop being held hostage by your emotional misery, your journey to emotional mastery starts here.
It's the secret to finding yourself!

That whole statement of honoring our Mother and Father..... the left out part was.. if they are honorable. Knowing that has always eased my guilt and anger towards them both. Thank you, Kenny for all of your videos!!

Honestly, although it may sound crazy, I find that listening to songs that sing “I’ll never get over you”, “I can’t get you out of my head”, “you were the only one for me” subconsciously cause me to be stuck in a codependent downward spiral as well. The media we consume has a HUGE effect on how we perceive and act, but we don’t want to admit it because it feels so harmless to consume these pieces of art. But they in fact do sway the way we think.

You’re exactly right. All of those love songs and the romance movies teach us something that is called love addiction. That’s why so few relationships work. We have all been raised to be either a love addict or a love avoidant. Both dynamics are codependent. We have never taught what true love looks like, feels like or acts like. That’s why I’m doing all of this. I’m trying to provide people with the knowledge, skills, and tools we never received so that we can actually experience love without codependence or addiction.

There was a lot of blossoming awareness about codependence, the inner child, childhood wounds, and dysfunctional family dynamics back in the late 80s and 90s. That's when I tapped into it, through Bradshaw and ACA groups. There were 12 step groups for everything, all over the place. It seemed like everyone was talking about their difficult childhoods. Then, gradually, it faded. Books were written criticizing the movements, and people ridiculed its excesses (e.g., people carrying around teddybears, or getting stuck in victimhood). It didn't go away completely, but it sure faded from the limelight and public consciousness -- for decades. Now it seems to be making a return, at least in a small way. Maybe these things go in cycles. ... In any case, I appreciate your videos. In my eyes, you embody the spirit of the old recovery movement.

I took your advice and read Facing Love Addiction. It was like swimming with jelly fish. 😂 I think I’ll need to read it a few more times to let it really sink in. Good medicine 👍

Yes as with many of the things I talk about, it takes a while for us to except truth. That’s how the shame and denial portions of the worst day cycle work. They put us in a place where we really want to hold onto our old beliefs and false persona and addressing that can take time

I have a lot of serious physical health issues and wonder now from your videos I wonder if it is my trauma I buried and then was used and discarded by as narc as soon as I was too sick to be a useful commodity after decades and alienation from my kids has caused me to be stuck in a codependent downward spiral as well but I know I have to take responsibility and I know now from you to hold myself accountable and responsible and let the ex do that to me and I was an adult and even though it was initially hard to swallow it is empowering as it means I am not powerless and I can change my life myself. Thanks.

Beautifully said. That is exactly how the Authentic Self Cycle of Truth, Responsibility, Healing, and Forgiveness works. As soon as we stop blaming and playing the victim and get into truth and take responsibility that we played a part, we initiate the healing process so we instantly feel lighter, empowered, free, and excited because, for the first time, we have taken control of our outcome and we now know that we can heal and forgive ourselves and them. Well done!!!

Thank you for this nobody wants to look in the home , and nor does anyone want to have empathy for the monsters that used to be children who were victimized themselves, Buffy and Angel had a okay relationship but perhaps just not one that stands the test of time due to different desires, stop giving them power mirror them show them their reflection heal them where you can and accept your role in things or move on and accept the role you played without blame and shame because the game started in the home and no one walks away without wounds or fleas
