For those wondering, the Haas simulator is only a useful tool to learn the functionality of the Haas machines. It offers very little in terms of teaching anything about the cutting process. You can use it to understand how to get data in and out, tool offsets, settings and parameters of the machine, editing (which sucks really bad), and perhaps you can check to see if your code triggers any alarms. For some people it is best to learn what the buttons do without risk of smashing the machine.

what if you have sharp internal corners that have to stay. how would you create a tool path that can deliver that?

Lars, if you do adaptive to face a large 8x16 stock is it best to use a 2-3" face mill or could you get away with a .75 end mill for adaptive facing operations?

Hi Michael Clark Thank you for watching! You can totally use a smaller cutter. It normally takes a little longer for the operation, but if time is not your biggest concern. Hope you have an awesome day!

i have own problem with fushion.Some times over to my right disappears the cube that you can turn the model on different sides with precision. There is no clue so it will reappear.thank you!!!

is it a way that the machine feed speed slows down when it comes to very small radius inside corners? It gets so much load on the bit in this corner that is almost the size of the bit. it's a cutout hole so I can put something that is a sharp corner into the hole. looks like. O----O I I I I O-----O

Hello Lars how are you ? ,so i'm trying to create this case with fusion but i have a problem with the edges i want to create this smooth curved shape but i end up with having edges i've tried using sculpting but i can't figure it out (i've watched all your videos about sculpting) i'll send you a picture of this shape that i've created so far maybe you can help i just want to have this oval smooth shape that goes from the bottom to the top from all 4 sides instead of the edges, i've uploaded pictures of the shape i've created so far and a picture of a case that i want to create and i hope you can help, thank you imgur.com/gallery/2ZE0K
