This is another great How to Beat video on Saw. The pendulum trap, those are clever ways to get out, but at the same time, there's no way to get out. The cube trap, again, definitely agree on what you said many times: if you try to drink that much water or try to rip the tubes out, it won't but drinking too much water without eating or something, obviously you're going to throw up so those other solutions would be better.

I'm trying to figure out if the women were wearing bras with underwires they could use that as a tool to push down the blood thing but I'm not sure how much pressure you could exert through those wires. Also, in theory, strahm could've gone to the back of the glass coffin and go down the hole it falls into. If it doesn't work his fate is the same really but it could jam the coffin mechanism which would also take out Hoffman and if he got crushed he may be able to maneuver his body so only one bit of him got crushed rather than all of him.

Thing is about the fatal 5. Yeah it's possible to escape, but the way is not being selfish. The problem is that's what they are, even Hoffman said so. This scenario it's not the Jigsaw of the film's fault, it's their own, every trap is escapeable

I knew this one... :) Well done Patrick! As for how to beat it... My honest opinion even though you found a solution - Hoffman NEVER INTENDED Strahm to survive... It was SUPPOSED to be an inescapable trap! Though I did like your idea of Piercing the Rubber... One thing that is not clear from teh movie is the Thickness of the Rubber... I am going to assume that as most of these traps are Industrial - That would not have worked... The Rubber would have been far too thick to be punctured by a pen! Driving your fingers up to give some space... It may have provided time, Certainly enough to find a better solution... But I feel the water was coming down too fast to make this viable as well! That being said, Could you survive this trap without a Makeshift Trach? Yeah... Though it would be time dependant... If the Officers outside were even just a little late, You would drown! The key is INTENT... And Hoffman wanted to kill Peter! Good video though! Really enjoyed it! And yeah... The biggest enemy is STUPIDITY!

While watching this movie again I thought of a way for everyone to survive the collar trap when the fatal five starts. On the timer where the pull pin is has an on/off switch. If the fire inspector chick slowly goes over & turns the switch off, even if the pin does get pulled, the timer itself doesn't start & they can get the keys freely without fear of decapitation

There is a way of escaping all the traps and it is teamwork. For the decapitation trap all the keys were the same so once one person got a key they could share it among themselves to each unlock their neck restraints. For the bomb tunnels each one was big enough to hold more then one person inside. for the electro shock trap each one could have got a small manageable shock instead of one person getting a fatal shock. And for the 10 pints of blood trap if they had all survived they would only have had to lose 2 pints of blood each.

You forgot one obvious solution for the glass box. Strahm could use his fists to break the glass. His arms and hands are exposed. It looks like he has enough room to do that. So why not do that. Better idea, use the pen like a knife and use it to break the glass in the glass box if that doesn't work.

Fun fact: the actor that plays Agent Strahm almost drowned twice during filming of the trap.

Patrick is going to be kidnapped by some Jigsaw copycat some day for being a smartass with all these videos :P

Seems the true villain copyright could not delay this one for too long. And about Seth escaping the trap and Hoffman executing him..Hofffman would still have to make it like a Jigsaw trap, I doubt the cops won't find it weird to see Seth dead outside the trap but i guess you could make an excuse and have em think that Jigsaw would still kill the people who win since this was before Amanda's trap and the stuff from Saw 1.

I'm a bit of a Saw lover. You know this. I know this. So, it's not a big stretch to assume that I have seen many, many, MANY "How to beat..." Saw V videos. Patrick, you are the absolute FIRST person who has ever come up with the idea of using Luba's body to sacrifice the blood necessary for the 10 pints trap. I looked up the effects of electricity on blood, and realized that your theory would be genius if it worked. That would be awesome. ...However, the problem is that electricity is plasma energy, and generates both light and heat, and electricity would boil blood into jelly. :( Because her blood would no longer be a liquid, I don't think it would flow well enough to make it through the openings and down into the beakers. In fact, it might clog the holes. *** It's a good theory though! And the first trap idea (angling your head under the blade so you get choked, not decapitated) is brilliant. **** The way I would have beaten the last trap? If it was me? I'd attempt it by taking the bar used to break the glass jars, and see if I could angle it down onto the pressure plate. If the rod was too thick... well... you got a saw blade rolling in each of the sides. If you feed that rod in, and try to sever part of it in half, that would work. Right? If not, well... you tried, and you have plenty of other holes to use. That, or (sounds gross) but see if Malick (or Charles or both) could pee enough to at least fill the beaker a bit, that would give the characters a head start. Less blood and less damage. *** For the tub trap, there's an even better way of connecting the circuits: electricity will follow a path of least resistance, and the bath water is the easiest conductor. Why not use the bath water, and pour water "roads" from the bathtub to within reach of the power conduits. Have the fatal five stand BEHIND the conduits, and have everyone throw their cable down into the water paths. The electricity would follow the water paths to the metal bathtub, and electrocute the bathtub, opening the locks. It's the TUB, not the water, that must be electrified to open up the locks. Because water is... Water. It's there to conduct the electricity down into the metal tub and close the circuits. Watch your step! Walk around the circuits, and the door should open. Either that, or use Brit's jacket, Luba's vest, Malik's jacket, Charles's belt, and Ashley's shoe (or one of the bars from the last room), attach the circuits, and throw them in the water. *** I'd have to watch the trap again to really get a better grasp on it. *** I love your videos! Your shoe solution is way off. All water needs to be in the same container so current can flow between all 5 wires....
