Honestly, the movie was predictable. Most horror movies now are the evil monster wins so there can be a sequel. If the family won would have been a surprising ending. Great how to beat and keep them coming!

Let's be honest, any strategies formulated by this comment section would be better than what the characters in this movie did. Like we can at least explain the kids being a little dumb because they're kids and that Frau might have mind control powers, but the damn adults are honestly more useless than a hedgehog in a balloon factory.

Mother Krampus (‘17) is a british horror about a Christmas witch who steals children, but really is about broken families and generation-spanning guilt. Surprisingly touching moments next to vividly gory ones, and I was *into* that ending. Pretty well done all-around.

Was the witch really evil and lying about her grandpa and GMA being the killers? Was the which taking the little girl to a place where she could be happy like the North Pole or something? In this case, it would be best to keep the kids aware of danger, but out of the loop regarding the plan if Frau can mind control them. If she has a psychic link, chances are, she’s reading their mind to tell what she can use to lure them. If she can read their minds, she can likely be informed of the plan. First thing I’d have done would be to set up security cameras around my place and pay people to set them up. I’m not gonna risk getting killed while there’s a possible killer outside. Plus, it seems that Frau disrupts signals, such as those from phones. You could also use this to tell where she is by seeing what cameras get affected. Or even make a faraday box to protect the camera’s signals to catch her on camera. Once you have proof of her, you can get others to back you up. I’d also make sure that everyone in my household would get experience with adaptive combat. People become desensitized the more they’re exposed to something that would horrify them. With regular exposure to images of Frau, the family will be able to think rationally and won’t be as afraid. Next, I’m making everyone confess to anything terrible they’re either hiding or have done since she seems to prioritize bad people. They could likely be used to lure Frau. While doing this, I would still hire a priest to bless her remains in hopes that it would destroy her evil spirit, similar to Freddy Krueger. But if I know that there’s a fight coming, I’m setting my house up like Kevin McCallister to injure her since she’d have a physical form. Sure, she can teleport, but she’d have no idea where the traps are. I’d also make sure that we all cover ourselves in holy water so that we can at least prevent Frau from grabbing us. Chances are, the holy water will burn her flesh and we can use this as an advantage by also covering our weapons in holy water. These are the precautions I’d take if I couldn’t move.
