I'm not sure about the actual numbers and dates but I think even after all they took the population should be back up in a couple months. Plus did you see how many of them there were? He took 2-3 buckets and there still a huge number of crabs left. At $300 a bucket that whole horde is probably worth $2,000. Leaving enough to repopulate ensures you can get much more than two grand over time, though ;)
