Man, I just replaced my alternator on a 08 g35x and it was definitely not that easy. :) I had to remove both air boxes to get the fan out and ended up having to remove the oil filter to just barely have enough room to sneak it out. Glad yours went smooth though!

There is oil and grime all over, most likely cause of alternator failure. Need to find source of leak and repair. If with in the year new alternator fails it will not be covered under warranty due to oil damage.

Lol that doesn't make any sense? You don't need to remove the airboxes or the fans to take it out either yet you did. I'd also rather drop a swaybar then remove clips.
