This video showed me that I paid $524 having the whole hub replaced because I was told by the mechanic that they couldn't change that ABS as it was "imbedded" in the hub, and that I also needed to change the ball bearings, too, but they also were imbedded in the hub. Now I realize I could have first cleaned the ABS sensor to see if it was all that was needed at this time. Thank you so much for this very well done video.

I WATCHED THIS ENTIRE VIDEO AND YOU NEVER STATED IF IT FIXED THE PROBLEM. I'M HAVING THE SAME ISSUE BUT POSSIBLY THIS WASTED A BUNCH OF MY TIME AS I AM TRYING TO FINISH MY TRUCK AT 12A M. AS I SPEAK LOL OH WELL IF YOU SPEND TIME MAKING A VIDEO AT LEAST LET EVERYBODY KNOW WHAT THE OUTCOME IS OR IT'S JUST A WASTE ALL GOOD HAVE A GOOD DAY

My 2000 Sierra brake and abs light comes on intermittently but my 2004 Yukon did the same thing and a couple weeks later the wheel bearing went out. I have to say it was quite easy to change for a guy who is not mechanically inclined

Tip to not strip an Allen bolt is use a torx. They usually fit super tight. Sometime you even need to tap them in. But they will never strip cause it’s right in the corner.

Well not all true just like sockets and bits.....the wrong one is the wrong one and that will round anything....

Nice to see a video by another fellow Arkansan! Thanks for sharing! Did it solve the issue? I just had my front disc pads and rotors replaced, along with the front bearing assemblies on my 2005 Silverado, but it seems to still pulsate sometimes. I’m told the brakes may need to season up a bit. I did the rear drums and shoes a few week’s earlier. Kind of surprised they seem to still pulsate. All new stuff front and back. Thanks for the video!

Did that fix it? Don't recall hear it that was the issue? Might light was off but front abs would kick on below 2mph, so I replaced the sensors and now the light is on!

I got a problem on 2005 gmc sierra 1500 when the abs n brake light is on the air don't work l can't fain the problem.

got an abs and parking break light on theyre always on not intermediately i scanned for codes and there is no codes at all im figuring a speed sensor has gone bad or something

gaskets are mainly to prevent any air due to uneven metal, it’s not necessary but more of a safety measure, they’re about 4 dollars for 2 at your standard parts store

Smh. If the abs light is on, it is usually a dead giveaway that you need a new wheel bearing
