How to deal with criticism (it's not easy)

One of the most valuable things I learned from my PhD is how to better handle criticism. This is something that I am still working on (and probably will for the rest of my life because it is NOT easy), but I hope these few tips that I've found helpful will be useful to you, too. This is a great topic!! I only wonder how vulnerable graduate students are to criticism or feedback from mentors. How comfortable do you feel providing feedback to a supervisor for example?

I think it definitely depends on each person. I still feel uncomfortable providing feedback to a supervisor, but I will muck up the courage to do so if I see that it is necessary or beneficial to myself and others. I've been fortunate to have supervisors that are open to receiving feedback, but I have definitely heard of instances where that wasn't the case :(
