Under no circumstances should you hit the end of the shaft with a bare hardened steel hammer, you'll round over the channel at the end where the cir-clip goes! Ask me how I know, lol :P Anywho, thanks for putting up the video, it helped me get mine apart on my Transit connect van today! :)
