Hello my lovely peeps! Today's video is all about how to explore your gender. I've done a lot of videos on explaining different gender identities and signs you might be them but I've never done an overview of how to really explore your gender when you're at the start of your journey. The tip about muting/blocking, just yes. Blocking isn’t a sign of weakness. It shows you’re mature enough to know what’s harmful to you.

@@GlassMelonI'm serious. People who have your best interests at heart may not always tell you what you want to hear. If you block over any disagreement, then you're probably not going to grow or live a fulfilling life. That's not to say you can't block anyone, but let's be honest, it's way overused by a lot of people who pretend to be tolerant.

@@frishter You're thinking of conservatism, no, this is about removing yourself from people who hate you. What you're thinking is an echo chamber, what this is removing yourself from harassment. And honey, people who tell you you are an awful piece of trash and you should harm yourself do not have your best interest at heart. KZfaqrs who say you are a monster that should be arrested don't have your best interest at heart. Maybe think before you speak, because you don't know what you're talking about.

Honestly the best thing you can do when trying to figure out your gender identity is to just take your time with it and know it’s okay to change your name and pronouns multiple times

Changing your name I can understand and hey that's OK, but you can't change ur pronouns unless ur trans. No that doesn't mean you get to be NB. Why? Because it doesn't exist

Hi Lynn, would you maybe like to consider making a video about questions you can ask yourself to potentially help you with figuring out your gender identity/sexual orientation? I think it makes for an interesting topic; it'd be very useful to me and I'm sure lots of other people could benefit from it too! Absolutely no pressure but if you want to look into this I think it'd help many of your viewers 🧡 P.S Love your videos, you've helped me a lot on my gender & sexuality journey! ^-^

Thanks so much for this! I'm only just recently coming out as non-binary and had been in a lot of doubt whether I was overthinking it or not, but looking back at myself and the way I express myself as a person, it all just clicked together - like that final piece of the puzzle I had been missing all my life (even rewatching old videos of myself on my channel it's so obvious, I just needed that extra push mentally of realisation). I can't wait for what's ahead 💙

your videos are so helpful, i discovered your channel by trying to feel i was aroace because i didnt feel any romantic nor sexual attractions. (a quick funny story on my old channel i used to stream (wasnt very popular) and i gotten quite a bit of people that had liked me but i didnt like any of them nor did i like anyone and i have this channel now) no nobody knows about me being aroace though

Hey, I study at a catholic college and I am quite shocked of my peers what harmful things they believe and say about people that don't match the biblical stereotypes and everytime I read or heard that it felt like a slap to my face. I was horrified by that and that is, where I questioned why exactly.

I am new to being aware that not only do I not fit within gender norms I also now realize how toxic societal gender norms are. Humans are humans, the way we act can be harmful, neutral, or helpful and those actions should be separate from gender. Gender is a construct. So I’m refusing to play that game. I’m now going by they/them pronouns. As a 43 year old who has birthed a child (who is now 8), it’s a shock to people in my life. By refusing to play this game I hope to help others around me question societal gender norms.

i sometimes am nonbinary and sometimes I'm a trans demiboy and like one day I feel like im nonbinary and sometimes I feel like I'm a trans demiboy and I cant find anything that says its a thing and I've had way to many mental breakdowns bc of it and I don't even know what I am anymore and I'm just so confused

You can, but you probably don't want to push away one of the few people who actually care about your wellbeing for the sake of those who want to use you to reinforce their own beliefs and move towards their own political goals. People reading this should question what kind of group would want to isolate you away from your family and friends.

hello what should i do i dont what do with my Sexuality is because i was question by my mum in 2019 because their was staff number in my work who was lesbian i fancy her a bit but then i was getting ask if i fancy womens i stay to my mum no and my mum was asking was i lesbian i stay no i was getting pea off with me and my mum where swearing each other because that reason i dont speck to people about what my Sexuality is And another things my mum was staying to would you kiss girl i stay no to her but then i was thinking it like kissing boy. I know i will always fancy boys but i have feelings for girls too what your thoughts on it thank you for your time love from jess xxx ps i have autism and heart defects call tetralogy of fallot i fancy 3 boys call my mum friend sue son jack and my ex friend morgan and and my ex boyfriend Stephen who sadly is dating someone else but he will always love of my life and i fancy girl Layla who i knows from school please help me understand xxxx
