Can you use brain stimulation or deception to fool your brain into extending your time-to-exhaustion? Should we redefine fatigue based on the central governor? What is the science behind Jen's Voigt's "Shut up legs"?

I'm weighing this with the phenomenon of cramping. When I bury myself mentally and physically, it's the cramping that I cannot overcome. And while there are theories about what causes cramping, the best anyone can come up with is that you've asked your muscles to do more than they're capable of.

Day one bad crash, day two: nursing injerges did 100 miles across Dartmoor on 3 hours sleep, the worst day of my life. After that I learned after that I have more to give

I learned something new. Everything I did was wrong. Now I know why I had bad training results. Summary: I don't need competition and should use my mind more than artificially motivate myself. Thank you. Good job.

I’m an older rider all of a sudden. 1977 born. Ridden all youth. Last ten years. Short break ten years off bike. . Couldn’t race. No power. Good cardio / engine when in teens. No strength whatsoever . Now same , good rider , low heart, A lot to give. Crap legs 9/10 rides. occasionally do 400 watts 15 seconds and 300 for half hour if legs give it. Another day 250 max max legs 30 mins 220 for 3 hours. I’ve feable legs that just wanna feel lactic . What science sorts out dead legs to free up the engine ??

Can you please do a video on the Amstel Gold photo finish. The technology used and how accurate it is? For example where exactly is the finish line, is it the start of the first white strip or in between them? The photo finish pic is blurred especially Pidcocks front wheel. Could those missing pixels have given him the victory? I have yet to see a video explaining the workings of the finish line equipment for road races. Thanks

imo abstraction works best for endurance and rewards for motivation. also, staying relaxed and breath correctly helps a lot to push the red zone further away

sometimes when i do workout that involve counting, i tend to "recount" instead of do the real counting, like if it's 100rep i count only to 10 for 10x, so i can tell myself "oh it's still 3 how come getting tired so early"

Sorry to be off topic but I was just wondering? Have you ever used any of the Garmin head units? If so,what's your opinion about the recovery recommendations from the Garmin head unit? I just purchased the Garmin 1030 plus last week and it's advising me to take 60 hours sometimes 88 hours to recover from a endurance ride.Is this a mistake or does the unit need more riding data metrics over a period of time to figure the rider? Thanks for reading.

I feel this is going to result in a self fulfilling prophecy. We can trick our minds therefore we do. And go further. Is this the thesis
