Very cool little project Roy. For those that don't have a square hardy tool, I have a suggestion. Go to a farm or hardware store, and get a large grade 8 bolt. The threaded end a bit larger tha your hardy hole. Grind down the threaded end or forge it square. Polish off the raised number/letter on the top, and you have a hexagon tool, with radiused edges.

Pretty neat deal there , kuul the way it burnished out too. So many options I can see from that used as a basic design. Thanks you for sharing these and blessed days, Crawford out

Nice dish. First time I think I've ever seen you grind/sand/buff anything. I'm definitely liking the new mic. It was a great choice as it really doesn't pick up a huge amount of the sounds from the angle grinder, and buffing wheel, and make them to harsh of a volume change. Since you buffed the dish you could do sort of like a "revise brass brushing" on things like that. I meen brass brush the dish, and then knock off the high parts to be the steels color. So it would be brass in the low spots unlike the normal high parts being brassed. Great project, and can't wait for the next one.

That looks great. Question about burnishing, if you were to add temper colours then burnished, would that just deepen the colours or possibly remove them? I can really see these as a set. Front door, wash room, kitchen. Love the idea 👍🏼
