So my dry look to have a strap on the white wire to metal of dry is that a ground

Yes sometimes they’ll be a little difference. But pretty much the same general concept. I like to make these videos on a particular type of dryer because sometimes people get a little nervous if they don’t see the exact dryer they are trying to put the plug on. So I make a lot of these videos that are kind of repeat just with different brands.

Three prong plug is hot on both sides and the center is the neutral. So it does not matter which way the outside two wires go as long as they go to the outside. If you don’t feel confident just watch a few more videos.
