Definitely guilty of trying to muscle more revs on it. I get irritated when there are clearly patches of oil scattered out on beat up house shots and I can’t get back to the pocket from the same spot constantly, so I get around it and really try to rip on it. Just makes matters worse. Then I slow down and just try to come up the back of it nice and easy and it reads three times as much and misses the head pin left. Clearly new to bowling and I already feel like I should write a book on what not to do lol. Thanks for the info and keep the videos coming!

Luke must be eating his Wheaties. These recent bowling videos have been extremely educational. And I've got a 210-220 average so this isn't just beginners stuff.

I sometimes refer my teammates I bowl to this video. Most Of them think if you simply hit pocket your guaranteed a strike and if you don't they say you got robbed.

I really needed to hear this. I just had an epiphany in the last week while slightly relaxing my hand right before release. My rev rate went up dramatically from what I've been seeing for the year plus I've been bowling. Keep up the good work Luke!👊 btw I'm loving the process😂

Thanks for this, I’m new to bowling so I don’t know a lot of the terminology or strategy. I’m gonna try to keep this in mind

This is nice high-level / advanced observational bowling advice. The righty stone-8 really is so rare, and I agree that is the only true tap.

I really like the miss demonstrations! Drills like "Cannot Leave Until You Shoot 250" teach you how to chase and maintain continuation. The progression from earlier, less responsive balls and higher balls speeds, to longer, more responsive balls and lower ball speeds is really hard to teach. Especially when it's hard to see when balls are burning up or just missing the mids, like when you miss into a puddle.

This why I like challenge leagues. I get frustrated, but you get to see technical flaws and learn what you don’t know about bowling

This is a lot of good information. Modern bowlers are learning to power the ball and aren’t learning any of the other skilled traits needed to adjust.
