In today's video I go over how to remove your supercharger in your Jaguar S-Type R! Please not that I am DEFINITELY not a professional mechanic, but if I can do it , you can too! I also show you how to remove it without messing around with the EGR valve, which is expensive to replace even on the second hand market!

Nice video but kinda missed the details of how to get the bolts loose holding the supercharger to the throttle body and the one under the intersection of the s/c and throttle body. It’s a mystery how to get those out (and back in). Any help would be appreciated… I have the easy bolts out! I need to get all this off to access the fuel rails. (Leaking?)

I had same problem with my car and it turned out to be the nylon bushing in snout. My car is apart right now . Egr was clogged solid and #8 injector has no pulse . I've replaced all emissions parts , intercooler pump , hoses and a lot of other stuff. I'm stuck on the injector plug any suggestions I'm trying to trace the wire . Frustrated. Thanks for the video

My cylinder 7 injector had no pulse. Did you replace your fuel injector?

So, if I have understood your procedure correctly, you never loosened the EGR screws and bolts at all and still managed to pry back the intake elbow far enough to get a 1/4" ratchet extension with a swivel adapter in to reach the rear-most supercharger screw? If my assumptions are correct, did you have to pry hard on the intake elbow to force it back enough? Many thanks for an answer! //Stuck-on-the-last-bloody-screw

@@coleyuhas7891 YES CORRECT ! currently. in the process and followed this workflow.Slowly bending it back. The ego pipe is a bit flexible...not to flexible. Also loosen up wires tied with 10 mm to give some extra wiggle room !

cut a notch out of the back s/c bolt hole mount boss the size of the 10MM bolt shank, then leave the bolt in place, s/c slides in/out w/o having to completely remove the back bolt.,

Great video, can fuel injectors be changed taking out intercooler tanks and not the supercharger ? I'm about to do this repair

You need to take the supercharger off to get the intercooler tanks out!

@@ScottyHopp scotty , after all the repairs I did I have a vacuum leak it looks like it's comming from the throttle position sensor ? I'm testing everything before I reassemble the car. The EGR , egr tube and throttle body have new gaskets. I have a stream of smoke from under the sensor . Thanks Mike

@@mikejacobs4727 gasket first and if it still leaks look into your throttle body
