Welcome to The Blue Mouse Knits! In this tutorial I'm going to be teaching you how to knit the EASIEST scarf for beginner knitters. I will walk you through how to cast on, work a knit stitch, bind off and seam your scarf closed. This project is worked flat as one rectangle and is then seamed at the start and end edges to close and create a cowl/circle scarf. This scarf is completely customizable, it can be made in any size with any yarn and any needle size. In the sample I knit a chunky version using Super Bulky (6) yarn with Lion Brand Thick & Quick in the colorway Butterscotch. And used a pair of US 15 needles to make the project super quick and satisfying for beginners.
