Love watching you cook - specially when you whisk eggs I thought I was the only person in the world who twirls my whisk between my palms like that. At last - a kindred kitchen soul! :D

We had a mushroom, spring onion and cheese frittata today with a salad and a few cooked strips of bacon as garnish. Twas good. Amazing what you can do with pencil shavings, I think the food processors call that cellulose powder.

Hi Titli, could I add some grated cheese to the mixture as well?
@TitlisBusyKitchen09 жыл бұрын
***** Yes you could, but better is to grate some cheese on the top once it's cooked then pop it under the grill for a couple of minutes :-)

Ha! The end made me laugh. ... We always add some leftover pasta to a frittata, as well, to make it a little more solid and firmer.

Hahaha - Love this! I've never seen "Arrested Development", but from the comments I realise the video format must be in the form of a typical AD episode. Still, I think it's great to change it up from time to time, so thanks for the Monday morning giggle. (But please go back to your normal format...I love the bit where you wave a chainsaw around!)

So is Thomas Oliver a bot or something? Who asks a question like that and then disables replies? lol Great video, love how you play with the formatting every now and then.

@hirundine9 жыл бұрын
Okay well that explains the brown look .... My frittata's usually have cheese on top and put under the broiler. I suppose there is a lot of different ways? I've seen one where the frittata is cooked underneath flipped onto a plate. then the whole mess goes back into skillet to cook on the top. That method seems messy? Cheers Jamie.
@TitlisBusyKitchen09 жыл бұрын
hirundine The "brown" comes from the anchovies :-)

Titlis Busy Kitchen Titli, I thought it was the allspice ...? Okay both, still I make this sort of thing once in a while. Never thought to add allspice. Cumin? I usually use whole cumin and slowly heat the oil with cumin in it. This lends a nice nuttiness. Allspice sounds like a caribbean frittata? Oh nice video by the way ... great!

I really like that age does not equal maturity.... Could that be classed as science too? I tend to make frittata with leftover anything that's in the fridge and looking a bit sad...plus onion... The egg and onion disguise the sadness.... :D
