Should do part due on them there paints you use. I just started making single mold with 8 cavities scored some beads from local factory but not finding much on painting floaters

Cool video brother. Not a walleye fisherman but looking at EPS beads as a possibility for another fishing application. Info is hard to come by. May have to just order some and play around with them. Hard to imagine you can just fill with beads and bake.

Trying baking instead of boiling, they stuck in the mold bad...any suggestions?

Have you tried using steam to pre-mold them or possibly finish mold them? I know that big companies use steam and then bake to finish. I have one of those little shark steamers, thought about giving that a try.

Hey ryan im doing what you are doing. When i put them in the oven the 1st time perfect now everytime i put them in the oven they come out deformed they just are not forming properly. What am i missing or doing wrong?? Thanks for any help

Make shure the mold is full, and dry

With what / how do you paint them? powder coat would re-melt the poly correct?

I have been trying to make floating jig heads the way you say and each time I take them out of the water I pop them out of the mold and let them dry, I test them in the water and they all sink what am I doing wrong

Try not filling all the way up to screw hole some times ya have to adjust
