Okonomiyaki is possibly one of the tastiest recipes in the world and one that allows more variations. It is essentially a cabbage or cabbage cake with dozens of different possible toppings in which secrets and tricks make all the difference. If you've never tried it, this is your chance ... because I have built a recipe that everyone can follow and with ingredients and substitutes that are very easily available. Ingredients (for the dough):
- 100 g of flour
- 2 eggs
- 140 ml dashi broth
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 2 teaspoons tapioca starch
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 250 g of cabbage or cabbage
- 80 g chives
- 4 prawns and 1 medium squid
- Tenkasu (tempura balls)
Rest of ingredients:
- 100 g of bacon
- Okonomiyaki sauce
- Japanese mayonnaise
- Dried bonito flakes (Katsuobushi)
- Aonori Seaweed
