Hi thanks and one question, this sensor gives a low or high output. What I mean when it doesn't detect any object the output is low or high? I need a low sensor cause I need to turn on a motor when it detects something. Thank u! I'll subscribe

Just connect a motor at the output of sensor, use L293D or ULN2003 if it requires more voltage to drive the motor.

You can put device which works on 5V or below. 12V DC motor requires driver IC to operate the motor.

Range of IR sensor is dependent on IR LED's transmitting power.. For which application you are using the IR sensor?

i think photodiode is to be connected in reverse bias

i made it .but its not working.led lits when i turn variable resistance to one side.No sensing when a obstacle is brought in front.Pls help me. i have given an input voltage 12v

+shiv rawat Cover the IR LED & Photo diode for using it in sun light .. Otherwise needs extra Offset minimizing assembly (eg. Using LDR).

You have to adjust the gain of the sensor or cover the sensor with the black colored strip or case, it will help.

Up to 7 cm, you can adjust it.!

Use 7805 to power the sensor. And you can connect transistors or relays to get 12 V output.
