Pappardelle Pasta are ribbon-like strands best known for scooping up all of your favourite sauce in every single bite. Much thicker than other long pasta shapes, they are best served with slow-cooked bold, rustic sauces. The name Pappardelle actually comes from the Italian verb “Pappere” which means “To gobble up” and it’s exactly what you’ll be doing once you make them, so hurry up, just talking about it is making me hungry!
Pappardelle Pasta is one of the most popular pasta shapes in the world. In this video recipe I am showing you how to make Pappardelle pasta from scratch using 2 ingredients.

Another tip for fresh pasta is when it starts to float in the water, its ready. Once you eat fresh pasta, you'll never want anything else🙂 Thanks for the video.

This is my FAVORITE pasta. When I lived i Italy with my cycling team and coach and his wife. I would beg her to make pappardella pasta and ragu. Yummy yummy😊😊❤❤

Going to making pappardelle with a beef shin ragu for my parents 35th wedding anniversary on Sunday, thinking of doing a 3 course Italian meal. l am definitely making your tiramisu for dessert but am a bit stumped for ideas for a atarter. @@vincenzosplate that's perfect, something light and delicious to start with before the other two courses, thank you Vicenzo. What white wine should I pair that with? I'm pairing my favourite wine in the whole world Chianti with the beef shin ragu and with the tiramisu going for amaretto or some other Italian liqueur (open to suggestions here too as will probably make boozy tiramasu what's best recommend)? Thanks

Can you do a video explaining the different flours? I know 00,0,1 and 2 exist but they come in different strengths/proteins too Eg 00 Classico and 00 lungo levitation etc

I made this using a rolling pin as I don't have a pasta machine and it turned out pretty good although a little thick

a neat trick used for tacos: put a little oil on one disk of pasta and put another disc of pasta on top. Then when you roll it out, you're rolling for two. It works. And the oil doesn't hurt.

Absolutely! You can use a rolling pin to roll the dough thinly and evenly. Then cut it into your desired pasta shapes. Happy cooking! 🍝👨‍🍳🇮🇹

If you start with a ball, roll only from the middle out and turn 90 degrees, you'll end up with a square. Pull the corners a bit to help the shape

Go out and find a rough textured piece of wood big enough to roll out the pasta. That will give your pasta a textured finish instead of smooth, great for grabbing the sauce. Many Italian nonnas have a pasta rolling board or rough wooden table top.

Sorry Vincenzo but the point with gluten is not really true. Gluten love to be spanked they need really hard kneading. I know every grandmother do this like this and it's work. But the better way is definitely with Maschine.
