Thank you for amazing recipe. The video is too long and slow. I just want to get to the point and some stuff as opening the eggs is not necessary to view all the way. Just a friendly feedback. No offense 😉

Hi.. i made this but my wafer became soft and sticky after cool down. It made it hard to put filling coz its falling apart. Any tips on how to make the wafer crispy. Thanks for the recipe btw ❤

Hello, There are several factors that could affect the wafer. What I could think of are the following: underbaking, humidity, storage. My oven could be different from yours. I would suggest to use an oven thermometer. It won't take long to cool it down. Make sure to store in air tight container. Hope this helps :)

Hello i just want to ask how do i make the cookies more stable at room temperature? I notice that after taking it out of the oven it becomes sticky

Hi Keanu, the meringue wafer should be dry. Maybe it needs a bit more baking time to dry it out. Let it cool down before storing to air tight container or you can freeze them. Hope this helps. Happy baking :)

Hi...can i add some all purpose flour into the crushed cashew nuts and mix it to the meringue mixture so that it will not become sticky ?

Hi Lalet, thank you for watching my video. I think some other recipes are adding flour or cornstarch to the meringue. To avoid stickiness of the meringue, it has to be cool down after baking then store in an airtight container until it's ready to use. Hope this helps. Happy baking :)

Hi Mond, thanks for watching. The texture is either chewy and soft or both. If it's chilled, it's more on the chewy side. It it has been taken out of the fridge and has been at room temp then it'll be soft. Hope this helps :)

Hi Ira, it has been a long time since I had sambos :) If my memory serves me right, sambos have light/airy texture more like of the a meringue than a dacquoise. Silvanas/Sylvanas' texture is similar to Sans Rival (meringue with nuts). Hope this helps. Happy baking!

Hello! Loved your video as it's detailed and easy to follow. Asking if you have a recipe for flavored lady fingers? :) If not, when do we add the flavoring? Is it mixed with the egg yolks when creaming? Thanks!

Hi Mark, Thanks for watching. The flavouring can be added into the buttercream. As for the Ube crumbs, I used a homemade Ube flavoured lady fingers. I just followed a lady finger recipe from the internet and added Ube extract. Hope this helps. Happy baking! :)

How would I do mango flavored crumbs?? Same way as Ube?? Also how big diameter are the circles you used ??

Hi Ashley, for the ube crumbs it's homemade ube flavoured lady fingers. I think you can use mango flavouring/puree to make homemade crumbs. I used the standard egg ring you can get from kitchenwares and the diameter is 3 inches. Hope this helps. Happy baking :)

Hi Patrice, I made purple yam flavoured lady fingers (savioardi cookies) but you can use cake crumbs as well. Hope this helps :)

Hi there, it's homemade lady fingers where I used McCormick purple yam extract then I used a spice grinder to make the crumbs.
