Zack is one of the few mechanics I like watching, methodical, clean working, good to see him check instructions rather than just throw them in the bin and charge at it ! Must make a change not working on a BMW 😀 Going to be a fantastic bike, better than the S1000rr ! Until you get hold of a new generation one that is 👍🏻👍🏻

May I suggest that you invest on a quality external microphone for your future vlogging? I believe that the sound that we hear on this video did not do justice on the actual sound of that R1M haha

I have the 2017 r1m with exactly the same exhaust system and have to say,,it sounds absolutely awesome. You pay for what you get. Made a huge difference with a ecu flash and custom map.

R1M is such a beast no other Suoerbije sounds like that cross plane motor & with the Akra awesome to the mix that is music for sure

I heard Zack with his little jab at two brothers. I have their S1R system for my fz-10 and I can only say good things about it. For anyone who wants to spend half the price compared to Akra systems Its more then sufficient. Best bang for the buck Ive found for most exhaust systems.

Another great video ib. I would like to suggest something if you dont mind. Invest in some good quality mics, its very important. maybe something like rode videomic pro plus. should be a good option. Your current mics isnt doing justice to those eargasmic sound of those exhausts.

Hey 650ib, was wondering what was that rubber piece Zack talked about he needed to order in the last bike series buidup where you installed the sc project exhaust with rear sets? Just got myself an '18 s1000rr and plan on ordering the same exhaust and rear set for it

Since Akra is a close tolerance fit, I find that assembling the head pipes with the sleeves and collars already on the tubing is easier.

Will you be adding a belly pan? I think it needs it to fill the hole left when you take out the cat.

12:40 Springs are in the wrong holes. Since I did mine with the spigots and head pipes together, I marked the outside of each flange along with desired spring holes. Hell, it was hard enough to stretch the springs when they were in the right holes.

What would it do on my MT 10 with proper tune what do you think?

Easier to disconnect the oil cooler fitting on the right side and swing it out of the way. I also removed the lower support bracket. Just put on the same pipe on a 2019 R 1 M, yesterday.

Hey 650ib I have a 2017 r6 and I purchased a full system akrapovic exhaust. I’ve been all over KZfaq and I’ve seen people take off the O2 sensor and others like yourself keep the sensor with the akra exhaust. I am getting my ECU flashed. Do I leave the sensor or remove it? Please help.

Im partial to graves so I'm sorry it doesn't look or sound better but neither the less a great exhaust. Now in regards to the flapper motoholders makes an amazing front stay/airduct piece that replaces the factory parts with a lighter GFK or carbon fiber adrift and a stronger aluminum stay that deletes the flapper valve completely and gets rid of the actuator and other parts to that system

im really amaze to see how u r building the bike with top quality parts n in the end simply giving it away but its really unfair to subscribers like me who are not from US cause v have no chance to win the bike :-(

All aftermarket exhausts (3/4 to full) are way to loud for and everyday rider. Why don’t companies make a street worthy performance exhaust? Those things don’t have too be at odds completely.
