Ingredients
150g pork/chicken liver, chopped and fat removed (~0.33 pound)
150g minced pork (~0.33 pound)
1 cup soft bread (baguette/ sandwich without the skin), shredded
½ cup milk
1tbsp minced shallot
½ tsp salt
½ tsp pepper
1 beaten egg
100g butter or speck
2tsp cooking wine (optional)

Here is her recipe so that you can copy and paste to keep. 150 gm each pork/ chicken liver & minced pork or chicken, 1 cup soft bread, 1/2 cup milk, 1 tesp minced onion, 1/2 tesp each salt & pepper, 100 gm butter or lard, 2 Tesp wine. Thanks for sharing.

No problem at all. Thanks to your questions, I know what info my videos are lacking of. For pate, you can keep in the fridge for up to a week, Or you can also store in the freezer for a few months. You can use chicken liver with this recipe. Let me know how it turns out. Post a photo of it on my blog if you can ;) Good luck

Just the other day I had a wonderful banh mi with pate, grilled pork and an egg (pickles and jalapenos too of course)... Oh my. It was so good! Now you're making me hungry for it again.

Thank you for adding a link to this on the other video. I've made chicken liver pate a few times, but I lost my recipe. :( I've never tried pork liver pate, but it sounds yummy, and I definitely will try this. Thank you for all the wonderful recipes that you share. :)

I made pate today according to this recipe from Helen. It was very delicious and easy to do! (I substituted beef liver instead as there was no pork liver, but it's still very good ^_^)

Theo như em học thì nếu như chị muốn pate mềm hơn, sau khi xay xong chị có thể cho khoảng 1/3 cup heavy cream rồi fold đều lên trước khi hấp hoặc nướng..

yes you can use chicken instead of pork. I dont have vegetaria version of this recipe, but you can try my "Fried tofu in tomato sauce" for a vegetarian dish

Hi Malinee, thanks for the note. I don't know what parfait is (I thought it is a dessert?? Sorry I am not a food specialist hihi) Anyway this is the way they make pate to put in Viet Sandwiches (banh mi) in VN. You may not like it as it is, but Viet sandwiches are not complete without this. But I do agree with your suggestion about the bain marie ;)

Hi sissie, its me again. I know I've been asking lots of questions in your videos, hope I'm not annoying u. Anyway, there are a few things I wanna make sure before I'm planning to make this over the weekend. How long can you keep the pate for? Since the portion is quite big, and there are only me and my boyfriend, I don't think we can finish the whole lot just by eating it with the Vietnamese pork roll. Also would the recipe be same if I replace pork liver with chicken liver? Thanks very much
