That is awesome that my videos are helping! It certainly is an excellent game to get into and hopefully I manage to cover your favorite armies in the near future to help you out even more with learning the game.

I think my favorite model in the game are the Black Guard of Barad-Dur, and Black Numenoreans, I love the lore and aesthetics of them.

Thanks for the compliment! I definitely try to give as smooth a video as possible. I also try to keep them at around 20 minutes, so hopefully they are not too long

We certainly have a lot of thoughts just from reading the books, but our goal for these videos is only to talk about a faction we have experience in playing many times. Generally I only make a video after playing a minimum of 5 competitive games with them. I've played the Easterlings about twice now, and so far I love all the new rules for them

I forgot the exact list but it was Sauron, Taskmaster, Seige Bow, Shaman on Warg, Orc Drummer, Orc Captain, and then fill the rest with Orcs. Front rank shield, back rank spear. I also brought a banner and 5 Warg Riders

Can't wait for the next video in the series, your how to play/buy videos have been amazing content for me as a new SBG player - they're really helpful for the factions I'm building and painting, but it's great just to get a proper feel for what the other factions are like and what to expect from them when I play against them.. and just good entertainment while I'm painting!

You are absolutely right! Sauron cant take an Axe. Only unnamed Heroes. Well hopefully people dont follow that bit of advice haha. As for Shelob, I dont have any actual play experience with her but I agree that Might can be a concern. However I think that she might be a solid inclusion since she is a significant threat and annoying to get rid of. My only issue with her is that the army could use faster movement (Troll Drummer) and/or more Might and Magic (Witch King). So I believe she is just outshined by better choices for this particular list. However I'll give her a try

She is a fast mover though, so maybe not helping others get places but she sure can!

Barad dur cannot take Black guard as the Black guard is a unit of the third age mordor list

So far I havent had any change in thoughts, but I suppose I havent been playing Barad Dur since then and havent played against it. But maybe in another year or two, I might have some more thoughts as I keep attending tournaments

how would you run it at 800 points? What do you think about this list? You are the only person who has thoughts on this army... Sauron, witch king with crown on a horse, 4 warg riders with shields and then 34 orc warriors with nothing, 1 orc warrior with a banner. Anything you would change?

Unfortunately most of my pictures are just random finds on the internet. so I dont know how those were made. My guess is that they are the old Metal orcs from when the game first came out

Magic is done during the model's movement. Therefore you can cast a spell in a Heroic Move

Working on playtesting new armies every week! :) Hopefully trying to get out two of these a month.

Two a month must mean a LOT of playtesting!

I Would be impressed with one a month. (Though frankly that would take forever)

@@kingbonezai4925 Yup!! We play at about twice a week and I make sure to go to at least one tournament a month. But even at that pace its hard to playtest the entire faction to its entirety

Actually I have to correct this comment. He cannot take any other weapon than the one he has in his profile. Only Generic Heroes can exchange weapons

Absolutely useful! They are a cheap caster to hold back a hero while Sauron deals with another one. I think they would get the job done well. Plus the bombardment of magic can drain someone's Will for Sauron to cast a successful compel

Sameer Abusaft the problem with Rend is you cant double your dice to wound trapped models. Heroes often have 3 wounds and 3 fate. Therefore 4 rending strikes won't be enough. You want the hero to die as soon as possible
