Make sure to tell them, that only blue items + can be extracted or reforged... so ppl dont buy the greens of ah unless they are usefull while leveling

@@crtnn the Server was called Nostalrius and at the time of its peak it already gathered a significant amount of Blizzards lost playerbase, but only until blizzard noticed they’re “stealing potential paying customers”

Yes! Thank you! There are so many moving pieces to Ascension and it's fairly cumbersome to get a grasp of what's going on. The wiki only feels helpful to a point.

This should be added to the launcher. It covers things that will help ya get into the game and not be 100% lost so you keep playing. Great vid man!

Just Started the Game today & made it to LvL.15 before I had to come to work. Looking forward to getting into some Instances tonight when, I get home...and keep the Grind going. So far this feels like something that should've been done to WOW forever ago. It feels the same, but at the same time so different and Fun to actually Play.

Love your content. I finally took the leap to try Ascension and have ended up with a quite silly and fun arcane build, and got offered 4-5 legendaries before i even hit level 20. Been watching you play this for a long time and im glad i finally started playing it, so much fun. TY MCDOUBLES

Needed this two days ago, unforgivable.... Nice guide, still helps me a lot. Wishing i knew about the prestige beforehand, already had a 2nd char and was about to make a third since the 40+ rerolls removed almost all my damaging abilities on the two chars :D

You know you dont have to pick any of the spells when using hand of fate right? Just choose one then x down the next part and it will go away.

Hey Mcdoubles for the bloodforge gear theres a 3rd step you can do you can get a bloody barrel from a main city and dip pve gear into the barrel to change it to bloodforge. Figured Id let you know or remind you since it wasnt said in the video.

The possibilities are endless on this damn game. I spend too much time planning my build then actually leveling. Pretty fun. Gonna have to make multiple characters on this game for sure. Shadowlands needs to take notes

@@adamkantar2493 I have never bought a wow token, I will neither buy stuff on Ascension. I enjoy the theorycrafting and rng part as it is and I don't relly care if ppl pay to buy convenience - they are loosing the journey, that I enjoy.

Been enjoying Anscension WoW for a bit, got a 58 frost tank build that is going fairly well in Area 52, Learning how the mechanics work all over again is always a fun way learning what will give the edge.

Talents are searchable in the builder "N" window. Just search things like "spell power" and "crit". Look through the list of legendary Random Enchants, pick one or two that sound cool and build around them, Crimson Champion for tanking for example.

If you are lucky, during prime time as a tank you can still get into 15-60 groups without lots of investment. Some player gave me a pot and a set of RE gear to tank for their 15-60.

great vid, i'll definitely share it with friends that may be interested in Ascension :) I guess Marks of Ascension was the only thing I didn't hear about possibly due to being deaf and or blind. Last thing, do you by any chance know what the 'Mark of Mentorship' is? I never saw those in old seasons and I have an abundance from both bg's and dungeons.

Draft is fun for sure, but I feel like there are ways around to making the exact spec you want 🤔. I prefer the normal classless server, just mess around however I want and never gotta worry about the draft system! Ascension is definitely something special though, never thought I’d be playing WoW again after Shitlands.

The main use ive found for shadowmeld isnt the actual invisibility, its that as a healer it removes all people targeting me. Usually an AOE or a DOT will pull me out of it but its JUST long enough to go "stealth" and make them all untarget me. So unless they really want me and target me again then im safe to heal for a bit again.

Good clear lessons. Just one question concerning the random enchant system, how does one farm the stones needed to implant known re's? Its rather expensive to do, so having a video explaining a good farming method would be valuable. Also a thing you missed. Explaining that the hand of fate quests are spec specific. So don't mess up like me and complete all the rank 1 quests and realize you now have 30+ redraft cards you cant use on your main spec...

the fastest way to level. if you lucky to draw either travel form or ghost wolf early do bgs and just run flag dont bother with anything else. with aura its like 5 - 2 levels per bg win 5ish minutes of game time . if you already played for a while and got some gold and materials to use on the ascension enchants then you can get crazy powerful at low level since most of the gear is not soulbound you can simply trade it over to a main character and enchant it with what ever you want as long as you have the requirements to use it :) but the best way to level is to simply explore what there is building your character is the name of the game.

Hey, I like your videos, but could you make one for someone who has never played, perspective? You have great content, but it kind of jumps around. There is prestiging, felcore, 2 different servers. An in depth guide would be really great for me. So, the free-pick is literally just, enjoy and make your own spec. Then at max level, do whatever you want to gear up? Does it have prestige too? And the seasons, is the RNG leveling, make what you can out of what you get. With only a few times to reroll some abilities? I appreciate these guides but could you make more on what a new player should do at max level or what choices there are? In one video you mentioned a meta progression. I suppose what I am saying, there is so much to ascension, that as a new player, I want to know what I should bother to care about. Do I care to keep making new characters after max level? I think most of your guides are focused on the seasons?

This looks like WoW's version of Dark Age of Camelot's PVP servers like Mordred. The game normally had three factions battling each other but on Mordred server you could party/guild with any of the other two factions as well. You were able to attack and kill anyone not in your party or guild and gain xp/rp (realm points) depending on their level and rank. One of the problems, big guilds would level up characters and use them as fodder for other characters to kill and feed them xp/rp. I can totally see this happening in WoW Ascension. If your buddy kills your character you don't actually lose any of your gear because they just give it back. Do this is a far obscure corner of a zone no one goes to and you've got an xp racket.

Do I get any buffs while using leather armor on melee character instead using plates to be more tanky? What about casters. Does cloth armor give me more spell power? Is there any reason to use other than plate armor? To be clear I play on free pick server.

Not all gear is itemized the same. Cloth and Leather gear tend to have better caster stats than Mail or Plate. Generally if you can find a piece of mail or plate with the same or better stats you would always take it unless you had a build that said otherwise. Some shapeshifting forms don't work with mail or plate for example, in terms of the armor contribution increase.

As an eu-player i had huge lag spikes, once a mob dies then it spikes. Anybody with similar problem?

Requirements to enter heroic dungeons is item level 40 and mythic dungeons is item level 63 not item level 60 and 64, you can enter heroic dungeons almost instantly as soon as you hit 60 as all those random greens you find on the floor above level 40 will allow you to reach item level 49-53

also if you have the same quest for mythic heroic and normal saying "go clear Scholomance" you can just clear it on mythic now and it does the objectives for all 3 quests mythic, heroic and normal mode. so its more beneficial if all your dailies say the same dungeon if you really dont like doing PvE content and your major focus is PvP content.

Hello, I was wondering if you would mention how the realms work, but I'll ask it here, I see there are seasons, how do they function? Does a realm fully resets and everyone starts from LVL 1 again, and for how long does a season last, is the mechanic the same on both al'ar and area 52?

The free pick realm always stays and your chars from seasonal are moved there when the season ends. This season still has like 6 months I think but check out the website to double check me. Seasonal realms you start at lvl 1 fresh in the beginning
