This is a Golden vid. Why? Most women have no problem asking men they don’t know or are in the process of getting to know for money. As a brotha, I intimately innerstand us men are hard wired to provide & protect women and children. It’s encoded in our DNA. Somewhere along our journey to manhood. Women figure this out & abuse it beyond all belief. I’ve dealt with this in my life. We as men believe women are soft innocent and undeniably good. Life lessons, time & common sense teaches us differently. The major problem is 9/10 women do this men, whether they are attracted to us or not. I had a few female friends that said they had to manually override the feeling or desire to negatively take advantage of a good man. They had to put in effort not to use select men. I was shocked hearing it from the horses mouth. I took it all in. It’s difficult to overcome our own inner nature. Whether it makes us more attractive to the opposite sex or not. People, both men and women, often define themselves by their money and possessions. If we all stopped leading with our money, we might be inclined to find more meaningful, long-lasting, relationships. I once dated a guy who always complained that his past love interests always asked him for financial support; yet when I pointed out the reason why, he leads with his money, he looked at me baffled!!! It took me all of two weeks of conversation to clearly see he liked financially saving women and complaining about it simultaneously to anyone who would listen. I didn’t have the desire to feed that ego. If you are in an established relationship then helping each other financially in a time of need is very different than if we just met and you always need a financial hand-out.

Thanks Jessica, great tips. However the ladies here in Nigeria are just wired differently, it's either they have it their way or the highway. As a matter of fact, always asking their men for money is a constitutional right they are entitled to. You talked about selling the idea of taking a loan, that cracks me up, you tell that to a Nigerian girl and watch out for some nasty attitude, it's like you deprive them of fresh breath. A good number of these tips might surely work in Accra, but Lagos and Nigeria I really don't think so. Money is everything over here.

Lol. I almost predicted correctly on your community timeline when you asked us to guess what topic you were going to treat next. Clue was probably after listening to sister sister last week. The sisters did justice to the first 2 questions which involved money. I have always had issues with ladies feeling they are entitled to your money because the both of you are in a relationship. Unfortunately that is the order of the day. Most relationships now are ostensibly surviving because money is constantly being transferred to one party, mostly to the ladies. My fellow sisters, please let us put some dignity on ourselves. Great job Jess.
