What about the vvti solenoid o-rings and the oil bearing cap o- ring? Those should be replaced at the same time or at the very least should be checked to make sure they are seated correctly when u put back the valve cover. For the valve cover bolt torque, thats mentioned in toyota tsb 0041-13 and says 9 foot pounds and that tsb also shows the correct pattern to follow when installing them.

Thank you!, I will be doing this on my rav4 2.5l (Same engine) I really learned alot from your video. Are your sure the torque is 33ft lbs?. I'm seeing everywhere else online says 10ft lb's for the middle bolts and 8 for the outer ones please let me know

Just ordered one but would this cause excessive oil loss? I see some oil but im going through a quart every 500. Just ordered the gasket so hopefully it helps

Is this gasket replacement helps with oil burning issue ? My camry 2011 burns oil 🤦‍♂️

Depends on where the oil leaks coming from . When you say oil burning , meaning the oil is leaking inside the spark plugs ? As long as it’s not head gasket problem. If the leak is from valve cover gasket, yes. It will help .

I replace spark plugs today & cylinder 4 spark plug was wet with oil ...

@@MVDSo2 replace the valve cover gasket, should comes with gasket for spark plug tube too. I like fel-pro brand. If that didn’t fix the oil inside the spark plugs, it’s internal oil leak (head gasket)
