The sway bars on your vehicle connect the shocks or struts together for additional stability. Since they have to cross the underside of the vehicle, they are attached at several points along the way. The bushings cushion and dampen those attachments to reduce noise and wear. Over time rubber bushings crack and rot, which could lead to clunking or scraping at the sway bar attaching points. This video shows you how to install new sway bar bushings on your 1999-2007 Ford F250.

I've watched every vid this guy has put out and the most helpful as I'm starting to do everything he's done. It's really nice to know what to expect before starting the job. If I was him, I'd ask for a nicer truck to work on. My 2003 SD still looks newish under there. Thanks so much.

What would happen if you put the 30mm bushing brackets on with the 33 mm ones ?

Same torque spec for front bushing?

I broke a bolt/stud removing the bracket. If it's a bolt can it be tapped out or if it's a stud it'll be more work. Please advise.

Why is it everybody doing F53 sway bar bushings only shows (or does) the easy half of the job? Sway bars also require end links, which have bushings, yet folks ignore this required component.
