my wife's fusion has this on the top of the engine block, can you tell be where the lines feed too, one of the hoses feeds to another sensor with a blue clip? She has a hissing noise coming from one of hoses that feeds to the solenoid but i can find any info on this.

A very similar remove and replace for the 2013 Ford escape 2.0 L. I did the job in about 20 minutes last night. The key is to remove the passenger side front wheel so you have access.

What were the symptoms that made this repair necessary? I'm getting a P0313 code under load and can't figure it out.

You can test the new one as well as your old one by doing two things. 1) Try and blow through each tube of the new one. Take note and then try it on your old one. 2) Apply a 9v batter to the terminals of the solenoid using some wire, you should hear a click as it actuates the solenoid. 3) At the same time, blow through each tube. The air should be rerouted when electricity is applied. this is a good way to test if your solenoids are defective or doing what they're supposed to do. .

Hey I got a question I have a 2011 F150 and have a P0430 code but I was told that it’s creating the P0234 code. Is this or can this be true?

I have a 2013, the waste gate solenoid is located top center of engine block under the engine cover heat shield. Takes about :10 or less. I learned the hard way...LOL

What are the symptoms that you had to know that was going bad u have a 15 explorer sport and I read this should be replaced at 80k amd I'm at 100k.

I was driving yesterday and the turbos were working and just stopped. But my truck still runs and no check engine light. Is this possibly the problem?

2013 F150 the solenoid is on the top of the engine not underneath.

There should be 2 turbo bypass solenoids on the ecoboost engines. One in that location, and another up on top of engine.

I am having this issue with my 1.5l fusion replaced the bypass valve thinking that was the issue but this is most likely the issue.

@@redrangerrd I have non consistent boost under hard acceleration on my 1.6 Ecoboost, and noise under deceleration, will change this part
