I love rows. Single arm 9kg, I train at home and do not have access to a barbell. I hope you are enjoying Europe and that you will make a video about your trip. Great idea to make these videos for the time you are on vacation.

I think this is my favourite move. You feel so powerful. I typically do bent over row 15kg but sometimes add 3kg wrist weights, but sometimes I do a couple of sets with my barbell which will be more like 40kg. So not much heavier, but it feels a lot harder. This is a superb video. I am going to pay a lot more attention to my arm position when I do these on Monday and make sure it is rowing back to the hip! I've recently started strength training again after a long break and I'm up to around 12-15 lbs per hand for b/o rows. You are right, though, I don't particularly like staying in that hinge position for very long.

0:30 around 20 if it’s at the end of my workout. Ans 25 if it’s the beginning. I workout from home, my maximum weights are 25

When I’m at my strongest, 12 pounds. I had pneumonia in April, so currently 8 pounds. I like the single arm row best.

If it’s at the beginning of a workout I go for my 25s, but if it’s at the end or I’m doing full body I go for 20s. I need to buy some 30s for rows and lower body though!

Anytime I cue anterior pelvic tilt and thoracic extension I also say "show off your chest and butt."

Thanks for this video Justine. I don’t quite follow what you mean about the positioning for biceps bias versus lateral bias. Do you mean that for lateral bias bias the elbow needs to 90 degrees to the torso?

Hey! So with a more closed angle between the shoulder and elbow, you’ll incorporate a lot more bicep since the bicep flexes the elbow. With a more open angle between the shoulder and elbow, you’ll incorporate more lats (latissimus dorsi) since the lats help with shoulder extension. Hope that helps!
