I love the fact that Melanie uses lots of facial expression when it comes to signing. Is she deaf or a sign language interpreter?

I was born deaf by unknown causes and I learnt BSL early even though I could hear at 14 months old according to my mum. My family and I used a lot of BSL when I was in pools or anything that required me to take my hearing aids out all. My best friends are deaf and we always used BSL to talk and it was hilarious to say rude or other things and the teachers couldn't say "Shut up" these are mainly very much what I use except for cool I spell out the "C" and move my hand across the front of my face with a "O" sign and end with an "L".

I see BSL is as vulnerable to Yankee slang as spoken English :D

A good video, most of those slangs are originated from American Sign Language. Don't mix them up. X

I love these but I noticed that you got I love you wrong...the way you did it that is how the Americans sign it. The way British do is simply pat on their chest or heart.

This is so confusiiinnggg, I thought "like" was when you pat one hand on your chest, and "love" was when you have both hands on your chest

it’s taken from asl, we do both, but mainly the chest one.

@@rainrowan9729like is one hand on the chest and pat, love is both hands on chest with no pat. it matters what you say with your mouth too.
