@Tropical breeze it took some playing for me to realize there are two pedals on the right side, one for forward and the other for reverse. I rarely have to step on the brake, but my yard is petty level. I use mine to mow rocks as well as grass, so a bench grinder and file have become invaluable to maintain my blades. 😁😁

Make sure your foot is not on the reverse pedal. Make sure you’re butt is planted good sitting on the seat. That should be it. Pass that you have another other issue safety switch most likely.

My opinion, If you purchase your machine from a dealership, if you have any issues, the dealership will know you and I think you will have a better response rather than if you would have purchased it from the box store and then need to talk with a dealership. Not sure if you can understand that but it made sense to me! :)

If you have a fuel solenoid on your model it would be located underneath the carburetor. It will have a wire sticking out of it.
