I have a litte pre-flight list I keep on my yoke and I put all of the instructions on it and I have multiple planes I fly so I just use it when I need it and it’s sooo helpful.

Best yoke is definitely the saitek. You can get it for around $100 and it'll do almost everything a real plane will do. Nothing beats vr though. I will try to make an ils approach video and what do you mean by equalizer?

you can either down load the betterpushback plugin for x plane or i think one comes when you request ground crews through the ingame hot keys.

@@flqxarchive I think "Flight -> Prep Electrical Systems for Boarding" menu item works buts it not the same as this tutorial because you don't have to flip the ground power switch

Great tutorial. One correction though: Ground Power should be turned on AFTER battery master and standby power. Some people may wonder why nothing is happening.

Ummm I wanted to know, I bought this plane and I put it in my aircraft folder... I loaded into x plane but I couldn't find it?????? Could u make a vid about this?

Unfortunately I am not entirely sure what the issue is that caused the aircraft not to show up on x plane for you. I do recommend the zibo mod for the 737-800 however as it is much easier to install. Also, x plane comes with its own prebuilt 737 already.

Hello! I followed the steps but when I turned off the apu (the one in the front, where the guage is) my avionic systems died. Is there a solution? (I tried starting it up 2 times)

You should be able to set it on the far right over head panel. you adjust the feet on there and it sets it up for you.

Just wondering what exactly they're looking at and for. Its seems like starting a jet engine is not as easy as some might think. Thanks for sharing BTW

Most likely hypoxia. you can either disable it in the settings or adjust your cabin pressure.

make sure when before you turn off the apu generators which happens when the apu turns off, you turn on the engine generators which are the 2 next to the apu gens.

same. above standby power your see theres a panel that says DC with a black cover. flip that cover and flip the switch to on. when i did that it worked for me hope i explained this ok lol

Only one thing wrong with this: At the beginning the battery master switch and standby power unit have to be turned on before the ground power unit. Otherwise nice tutorial!

Pretty sure that means its on. You should hear a sound that sounds like a generator running and see exhaust out of the tail of the plane if its on.

That’s because the default 737 has an update to make it more realistic like the battery guard starts the battery instead of the switch

Well I did exactly what you show on this video and could not get engines to come on. I have default B737-800 loaded on X-plane 11. Don't know why engines won't come on. I spent a good deal of time on this with no luck. Any advise???

hi there! you shouldn't have to buy it, although the zibo download is 100% free and we highly recommend it! Xplane 11 does come stock with a 737 however and it recently got an awesome upgrade for free as well.

Ground crew is already in the game by default. You can find the key binding for it in the settings menu. Hope this helps! :)

Took your cold start lesson, thanks for that. I take off all good and dandy. Once I reach about 18,000 feet all.penals.becomes dark. Nothing is lit. Also warning beep. I. An switch to external view. I am still flying. I suspect it is cabin is pressurized. Any help will.be appreciated. When I go below 7,000 feet. All instruments comes back on.

You are experiencing hypoxia. You must not have set your cabin pressure to match altitude. This happens in real life as well. Any time you go above 12,500 feet, you are required to have oxygen for yourself and passengers. Hope this helps :)

Hello! If you click the little airplane icon at the top right of your screen, then click customize on the airport, you can pick which gate you would like to start at. Hope that helps!

@@Me-sx2dm make sure your battery and standby power are on, turn on fuel pumps, then hold down the Apu starter until it turns on. It may take a minute.

i cant get my APU to start the dial thing just goes to the number 4 then rolls back, can anyone help me?

Its tricky, but double and triple check your packs and apu switch on the right side of the overhead panel. That usually causes the APU to go back to 0 if its not done right.

my engine never gets to 20, it only gets to .5
