@ 06:38 do we get the benefit verification letter online immediately after clicking the link, or do we receive it in the mail? When applying for retirement pension only at age 62, with this my social security account, do I receive all notices / updates directly online in this account as well, vs in the mail? Thank you.

When you click to access your Benefit Verification Letter, you will get the opportunity to download it right there. The "My Profile" tab at the top of the page is where you can confirm or update your communication preferences.

My account doesn't show my pending claim. Do I just have to wait to out? (its been a couple of months already)

If you submitted an application for benefits through SSA.gov, it most definitely will show a pending application. You should call SSA.

@@MedicareMindset I didn’t submit through the online website. It went to court I called them and they said I it’s looking good form their end? What does that even mean?!?!?

@@Trainsallday Gotcha. Typically, I have only seen pending applications show up online when the application was submitted online. Looks like you'll need to call SSA at 800-772-1213 to get an update.

Jon - That's a tricky one. From what I've seen, you'll need to get guidance from SSA on how to best set this up in that scenario. If you do confirm a solid route to do it, please let us know. We can incorporate it in a future video. Thanks!
